Do you know how it feels:

To know you need to workout and get stronger but don’t know exactly how to do it.

To experience setbacks in achieving goals because of aches and pains flaring up.

To slack off on consistent training.

To have your body and training needs change due to being a mom.

To get fit, achieve results up to a point, and then get stuck.

To hire a professional for help and feel like their plan was not aligned with your needs.

I know how you feel because I have experienced all of this.

I have been a high achieving professional. I earned a PhD in geography, taught classes, and did research on deforestation. I have a passion for taking care of the planet. Then I had children and my body and my life-focus changed. I wanted to spend time with my kids and set a good example for them.

All the years of stress and hunching over a desk caught up with me and led to pain radiating from my neck and low back.

I was also diagnosed with osteopenia. I was surprised because I have always been active with dancing (I received a minor in Dance in college), martial arts (I earned a black belt in tae kwon do), and fitness classes (I'm certified as a Zumba instructor). I found weightlifting and training to be difficult for me.

But then I found natural movement training (and earned certification in Ground Force Method), bodyweight training
(certified by TRX) and kettlebell training (certified by StrongFirst SFG and Flexible Steel).

Those tools have reshaped my life.

My aches and pains are so much better and my bone density has improved (no more osteopenia!) and
I am stronger than most women half my age. Not to mention how toned my body has gotten. Now I am committed to helping other real people with similar problems as a NASM certified personal trainer.

I have spent a lot of time and money figuring out how to help myself.

I have honed my process and created my own special program that I know works.

Now I share this process and help others.
