I am passionate about self discovery and truly understanding one's nature. Using narrative therapy techniques, we explore your personal stories and the meanings that you have given them that have helped you shape your identity. People often struggle with dominant negative stories that limit their potential. These could be stories told by others or unhelpful things that we have been recruited to think and believe about ourselves.

I have a holistic coaching approach as I believe that all areas of our lives are connected. I help clients see their life as a whole and not just in individual parts. This type of life coaching helps you to activate your power, access your true potential and helps you to make transformational changes in your life so that eventually, you start to create a life that you desire for yourself.

The power of stories

Throughout life, personal experiences become personal stories. We give these stories meaning, and the stories help shape our identity.

We often struggle with dominant negative stories that limit our potential. These could be stories told by others or unhelpful things that we have been recruited to think and believe about ourselves.

The impact of these stories often leads to negative identity conclusions that are problematic and limiting, with serious long-term effects on our mental health and psychosocial wellbeing.

Hearing other people’s stories gives us an opportunity to learn from another person's experience and it can shape, strengthen, or challenge our opinions and values. Lives are multi-storied and there are many narratives to be discovered and developed. We do not simply have “one story to tell”. Part of my work is about the skillful revisiting and re-working of stories that shape our lives, so that our stories can support us in the living of more confident, aware and empowered lives.
